Our Commitment to Health & Safety
As always, our practice takes every precaution to keep patients and staff safe and healthy. While we have always adhered to and exceeded the standards for decontamination set by OSHA, we are going one step further and incorporating the latest CDC guidelines.
The Measures We Are Taking To Protect Our Patients
We ask you to keep the following in mind prior to and during your appointment:
- Per CDC guidelines, all patients & staff are required to wear masks or face coverings while at our facility. We ask that you follow this guideline & arrive for your appointment with a face covering.
- Please make every effort to complete your registration forms via our website prior to appointments. This not only makes your appointment check-in process quicker, but it helps eliminate contact, maximizing our efforts to maintain a safe environment.
- We are strongly encouraging Video Consultations. Our doctors have been evaluating using web consults for the past several weeks. We find it to be very effective & provide the safest option to our patients & staff. Once the web consultation has been completed, we schedule your procedure in our office. Upon arriving for the surgery, the doctor will complete a full in-office exam prior to proceeding with your surgery.
- Please be advised that we have a screening station set up in the main building lobby. Upon arrival, you will be asked a series of questions regarding symptoms or possible exposure to COVID-19 and have your temperature taken. We are not allowing any escorts into our office, with the exception of one adult parent per minor child. If you arrive with a driver for surgery due to anesthesia, we ask that your escort wait in their vehicle. We will obtain the driver’s phone number and we will call the driver to advise them when you are ready for pick-up. We ask that drivers remain in our parking lot for the duration of the surgery.
In accordance with all CDC & ADA guidelines, we will exercise best practices to determine any situation in which we feel we are unable to safely exam or treat a patient in our office. We have the capability to treat patients at the hospital facility if needed in order to safely comply with current CDC & ADA standards. Thank you for your patience & understanding under difficult circumstances.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO PATIENTS: If you or someone in your household have a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms, please stay at home and don’t come to the practice. Your doctor may request an online video consultation if you are displaying symptoms.
At Whitewater Oral Surgery, we appreciate the ongoing support from our patients, referring providers, families, and friends. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these measures are put into effect.
For questions or clarification about these measures, please contact us at (208) 342-7610.
We have arranged our waiting room to comply with 6 feet of distance between others. Please be mindful of floor markings & direction from our staff to adhere to social distancing.
